Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority (SAIFZONE), has recently highlighted its advantages to Indian companies at the Global SME Business Summit 2014 held in New Delhi.

The event, under the theme, “Enabling Global Economic Growth through SME Partnerships” was organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.

“We support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) immensely, and ensure that all companies have access to everything they require to build and conduct their business efficiently,” said Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and SAIF ZONE.

Raed Bukhatir, Deputy Commercial Director of SAIFZONE who led the delegation to the exhibition said, “We are participating in such events to boost relations with the Indian business community and promote the Free Zone to Indian companies and investors. Our booth at the Global SME Summit stirred great interest among hundreds of serious investors and businessmen.” “We met with key business organisations and major business management groups during the event and many of them want to set up an office in SAIFZONE. We hope that these enquiries will materialise in the coming months,” concluded Raed Bukhatir.

The delegates also interacted with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) officials.

“We also conducted a road show in Indian city of Gurgaon, which was attended by a number of investors and businessmen. The show highlighted the attractions of SAIFZONE,” according to Jithin Varrier, Sales Officer at SAIFZONE, who was part of the delegation.
