Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met on Friday at the sidelines of the 69th UN General Assembly meetings with President Hassan Shaikh Mahmoud of Somalia.
Sheikh Abdullah conveyed to President greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his wishes of stability, prosperity and progress to the people of Somalia.
President Mahmoud reciprocated greetings to Sheikh Khalifa and expressed his country’s keenness to enhance bilateral ties with the UAE.
They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations in all fields, as well latest regional developments and topics on the general assembly’s meeting agenda.
