Qatar Stocks Dip Slightly

Qatar Exchange index declined by 57.33 points (-0.41%) when trading closed Thursday at 13,874.97 points.
The trading value fell to QR 406.171 Million from QR 506.730 Million registered Wednesday.
The trading volume dropped to 9,679,507 shares from 4,049 transactions compared to 10,715,401 shares from 4,932 transactions on Wednesday.
The market capitalization dropped to QR 739.243 Billion from Wednesday’s QR 741.842 Billion.
Indices of all sectors ended in the red zone today barring telecom sector which continued its green run, gaining 0.59% when it closed at 1,719 points.
Transport sector dropped (-0.91%), banks and financial services dropped (-0.69%), real estate went down (-0.063%), insurance dropped (-0.28%), industries dropped (-0.24%) while consumer goods and services dropped (-0.11%).
From the 43 listed companies, 26 ended lower, 13 gained and four remained unchanged.
