On the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP) and to promote a culture of excellence in the organisation, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted Dr. Ahmed Al Nuseirat, Coordinator General of DGEP, during the monthly staff gathering at the Chamber premises.

The aim of the meeting was to raise awareness about the culture of excellence and innovation in the workplace in line with the Chamber’s objectives of adopting excellence in all its activities and events, especially while serving the organisation’s customers and stakeholders.

In his welcome address, Hamad Buamim, President and CEO, Dubai Chamber, said: “The concept of excellence is not new for the Chamber staff, neither it’s a passing fad for them as we have managed to ingrain the culture of excellence in our employees, especially when serving the business community in line with the saying of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which states that in the race to excellence there is no end.” He called upon the staff members to work hard in their pursuance of excellence which he said is a hallmark of Dubai and its strong economic foundation and to help the organisation to be amongst the best chambers of the world as he also assured them of Dubai Chamber’s support in jointly achieving this ambitious goal.

At the conclusion of the gathering, Buamim presented a token of appreciation to Dr. Nuseirat, for his contribution to the Dubai Government Excellence Programme which for many years has been stimulating creativity and excellence in the emirate.
